From August 2022 to the present, I have experience (around 5 months up to now) as a Dispatcher and Safety & Maintenance department officer of US Logistical Companies. (UGL (United Group Logistics INC) (US Logistical Company) (USA)) The first time when I worked in the Dispatching department, I learned the location of US states and their short names. On the special website power.dat.com, we search the loads and discuss with Brokers the load and the price of the load. Brokers first ask MC Number (7 digits number using rtspro.com) to check the company authority (If green comes out, it's OK). When we agreed with the Brokers, we say "Let's do it" and we get the load. Then Broker asks for all data about my company and about the truck driver. We talk with the Brokers using Ring Central and Vonage Business special calling. After getting the load, the Broker sends the signed Agreement (BOL - Bill Of Loading) and we also sign there using our names. Then we inform the driver about the load and pick up - delivery time and date. Driver sends 3-4 photos: BOL paper, Load picture secured with straps or LoadLocks, Door lock seals and Temperature if Reefer Trailer. We keep in contact with the driver and Broker about the load condition until it is safely delivered to the receiver and BOL changes to POD (Proof Of Delivery). We daily save all trip data on a special platform called ProTransport, where the update team can find our trips. As a Safety&Maintenance department officer, I every morning start checking the Update list of repairs where we write daily repair jobs of trucks and trailers and I call to the driver to check their condition. We call to several services like tire repair, and towing service and explain to them the location and condition of the trucks. Sometimes we try to fix the truck or trailer problems or damages by showing them videos from YouTube or explaining on the phone. On tire issue, we ask the driver about the location and size of tire, give these information to service repair shop masters. We use the ELD Rider program to search the location of the truck and it connects to Google Maps to search the nearby services. We have several Doc Sheets for getting current information about the truck-trailer owners and rental companies, their oil and filter changing dates, annual inspection and etc... We daily warn drivers about the weather if it's snowing or raining and stop them in critical conditions. I will provide a service you will love. To find out more, send me a message.
