Aaron been uniquely developing his career in science from astronomy as an astronomer to artificial intelligence (AI) as a solution engineer (SE) for the past decade. Currently, he is Data Scientist at Insight Edge, Inc. --- a wholly owned subsidiary of Sumitomo Corporation (JPX: 8053) --- from May 2021 onward to revitalize the group-wide operations through digital transformation (DX). Previously, he was AI Solutions Engineer at Ridge-i Inc. from March 2019 to Mar 2021 where he handled various projects such as industrial-manufacturing anomaly/outlier detection and geospatial image segmentation, cooperated with the consulting team in terms of client relationship management (CRM) from public to private, and facilitated new team members to become part of the company smoothly from recruiting to onboarding. His early career can be traced back to the University of Tokyo where he served as Visiting Researcher in the context of a postdoctoral study from April 2018 to March 2019 after fulfilling his responsibility as Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at the Department of Astronomy from October 2012 to March 2018 alongside his graduate and doctoral course.
